"I can go eagle high, circling in the sky Learn to live my life, I don't need no strife"
From drawing to painting, marketing design to photography there's so much out there to get my hands on. I recognize myself as an artist who brings a playful maturity to my works due to the inspirations from my childhood. Even at my age, I gravitate more toward vivid coloring, two-dimensional shapes, and outlined contours rather than subjects grounded in reality. Because I seem to connect with these aesthetics so naturally, I view Illustration as my most desired area of art. Drawing in graphite or ink gives me the kind of control that adds confidence enough to be not worry about what’s on paper. On my recreational time from school I’ve dabbled in card making, figure drawing, and non-representational design. A lot of my passion comes from those subject matters because they all begin as drawing sketches, which was how my path first started out as a kid drawing cartoon animals and superheroes.
Losing myself in video gaming....watching films and discussing on message boards....following what's happening in baseball and hockey....stuck on internet memes....these are things which keep me preoccupied when I'm not opening up artboards on my computer or moving pencils to my pad. They may be distractions from what's really important, however I try to stay on track with myself by not losing motivation.
Here's hoping I consistently produce from my heart, mind, and soul.
